Grandpa is a pilot and Pawpaw was an aircraft mechanic, so what better nursery decor than one involving airplanes.I had not seen this set, other than pictures on the internet, when I ordered it - and I didn't get to see it in person until four months after it arrived at my daughter's.I was pleasantly surprised at the quality construction and the design!
Lambs and Ivy has produced a product that is well constructed with nicely finished seams and edges.By using different fabrics - cotton, corduroy, and napped surfaces - the set providess both textural and visual interest to stimulate Baby's senses.The fabrics do not appear to be flimsy or cheap.The comforter and bumper pad are particularly nice.One does need to be careful not to use the bumper pad for newborns as it is a softly padded construction which is not recommended for young babies.When the baby is old enough for this to be used, the bumper pad will be a lovely addition to his crib.The fitted sheet is sturdy, but the fabric is not rough.The seams are sewn with smaller stitches so they should not pull out as some other commercial products have done.The elastic used to make this a fitted sheet is enclosed in self-fabric casing instead of being sewn directly onto the sheet edges.I would recommend ordering an additional valence since the one that comes with this set will only be sufficient for a small window.
I would recommend this bedding set to anyone looking for an airplane themed nursery set.If other Lambs and Ivy bedding sets are as well crafted, anyone would be pleased to receive them for the nursery.

What a wonderful toddler bedding set.Very well made and a great addition to any boys room.Very pleased with this purchase.
Ibought this for my two-year old and he was ecstatic. Great for boys who love dinosaurs.
I had trouble getting the hamper to look like thepicture...but it is precious & goes great in my daughter's room.
I ordered the Cowboy bedding set for my toddler son. It looks adorable. But I was disappointed with a few things. First the sheets are very rough, not smooth at all. And the top sheet has an odd shape,almost square. Also the red on the comforter bleeds onto other fabric in the wash so it's best to wash separately. And the pillow sham and comforter came apart at the seams in two places after washing. For the pros, I love the design and the super soft feeling of the comforter top and the sham. I just wish that the sheets were soft. I finally put a different sheet on my son's bed and he seemed to sleep better and longer after switching to a soft sheet.
This Aviator set is beautiful, and there are so many matching accessories - the nursery will be perfect!
Out of the box, this set is cute, but not overly impressive -- UNTIL! -- it is laundered. The planes on these sheets are well-transferred and will not fray or pick. The only quibble a perfectionist might have is that there is a bit of a crinkle in the fabric around each embroidered plane right out of the dryer. Big deal. It would come out if ironed, but why bother? The colors are deep and rich. The fabric is luxurious. The edging is well-done and not at all shoddy. And the microsuede is the softest thing you'll ever snuggle up with. *I* want one. 
I love these stickers! They look adorable and are easy to apply!! They are quite larger than what i was expecting, the largest butterfly and flower is about 8-10 inches in diameter, which is fantastic for the amount of space i needed to fill!!
I wish this was the sheet that came in the bedding set! So much nicer than the plain white one.
The quality of the valance is nice, for the price its good.The Max color is listed as 82" though, and in reality its only 53".We had to wind up ordering two to fit our window.
This lamp looks wonderful in my nursery. The brown strip on the bottom was glued on a little crooked, but luckily it was on the back, so its not noticeable. Otherwise it is a good product and I found a lamp that matches the shade at a reasonable price.
Very cute and easy to put together. Matches well with the rest of the set.
When I ordered this lamp, I thought it was the whole lamp! Nope, just the shade. It's very cute but not worth the extra money. I could have bought a lamp and shade at Target for the same amount of money.
