I'm a mother of a 2-year-old son and one on the way. We wanted to make way for new baby so we decided to transition our son into a toddler bed. This is my sons ultimate favorite book and when he first saw it on his new big boy bed he was so excited to use it. I don't know if it was my son's easy-going demeanor or the bedding set itself that made the transition super easy. He is still till this day so excited to sleep in it and we never had a problem getting him in his new room.
